How to add text to photos on iPhone and iOS camera rolls
Step by step guide:
- Press edit
- Then the plus sign at the bottom of the screen.
- Press the rectangle to create a background and move it to where you’d like the text to be.
- Press the colour wheel at the bottom of the screen to change the colour and the opacity.
- Click ‘X’ to return to the image.
- To fill the rectangle, press the square icon at the bottom-right of the screen, then select the solid square
- Press the plus sign at the bottom-right of the screen, then select text
- Move the text into position and type your text
- To change the colour of the text, press on the text to select it and then the colour wheel.
- To change font and the size of text, press the ‘A’ icon at the bottom-left of the screen.
- When you’re happy press ‘done’ at the top-right of the screen, and then ‘done’ again at the bottom-right of the screen.
- Your photo will now be ready to share or to use in Pages, Keynote or Notes.
